THE chapter is about Esperanza talking about her own house on a hill. she thinks the people who have a house on the hill dont have to worrie about city noises and only thing that botherse them is the wind. She thinks the people who live in those houses now are stuck up and wouldnt let people in the house. But one day when she owns a house on the hill shes going to let the bums live in the attic.
"people who live on hills sleep so close to the stars the forget those of us who live too much on earth"(86)

I think that yes she will because of how she is so focused now on her house that she will even be more indulged in her house when she grows up to make it everything she always dreamed for.
I believe that Esperanza has the drive and ambition but I think that she has be so heavily put down in her past that she will notget the house of her dreams.
its one thing to be a good person. But letting random drunken poor desperate dirty illeterate angry old men live in your attic, thats short of stupid/crazy. I think she wil get the house she dreams of. And i also think that if she lets random drunken poor desperate dirty illeterate angry old men live in her attic, she will get raped...again (see Ch. "Red Clowns")
